Welcome to SALUTE and thank you for your interest in joining our curated network of South Asian women professionals. Please carefully read and agree to the following Terms of Service (ToS), which include our community guidelines and marketing/promotional release language, before becoming a member.

1. Eligibility and Member Verification

1.1 By joining SALUTE, you represent that you are a South Asian woman professional or identify as such. You may be asked to provide verification of your identity and professional background to maintain the integrity of the community.

1.2 You must be at least 18 years old to use SALUTE services.

1.3 We reserve the right to accept or reject membership applications at our sole discretion.

2. Community Guidelines

2.1 Respect and Inclusivity

2.1.1 All interactions should be conducted respectfully, promoting a community where everyone feels safe and welcomed.

2.1.2 Respect the diversity of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives within the community.

2.2 No Discrimination or Harassment

2.2.1 Any form of discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or offensive behavior is strictly prohibited.

2.2.2 Treat all members with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of their background, ethnicity, religion, or any other personal characteristic.

2.3 Confidentiality

2.3.1 Members are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others and must not share personal or sensitive information without explicit consent.

2.3.2 Do not disclose any confidential or proprietary information shared within the community.

2.4 Professional Conduct

2.4.1 Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with other members.

2.4.2 Avoid engaging in any activities that may harm the reputation of SALUTE or its members.

2.4.3 Self-promotion or excessive solicitation within the community is discouraged unless explicitly allowed.

2.5 Compliance with Laws

2.5.1 You must abide by all applicable laws and regulations while using SALUTE.

2.5.2 Do not engage in any illegal activities or promote any unlawful behavior.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

3.1 User-Generated Content

3.1.1 You are responsible for the content you post and share. By doing so, you grant SALUTE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the content.

3.1.2 Ensure that any content you share does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

3.1.3 Respect the intellectual property rights of others and do not post or share any content that infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, or any other intellectual property rights.

3.2 Moderation and Removal of Content

3.2.1 SALUTE reserves the right to moderate and remove any content that violates these Terms or community guidelines.

4. Marketing and Promotional Release

4.1 Consent for Use

4.1.1 By joining SALUTE, you grant permission for your name, likeness, testimonials, and other relevant information to be used for SALUTE-related marketing and promotional activities.

4.1.2 This may include, but is not limited to, website content, social media posts, newsletters, and other promotional materials.

4.2 Opt-Out Provision

4.2.1 If you wish to opt-out of having your information used for marketing and promotional purposes, please contact us at hello@salute.community.

5. Member Directory and Data Use

5.1 We maintain a member directory, which may be shared at our discretion for networking, collaborations, or as required by law.

5.3 Data Privacy and Security

5.3.1 We are committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining its confidentiality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your data.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

6.1 Use of SALUTE is at your own risk. We do not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, or completeness of any information shared within the community.

6.2 SALUTE, its administrators, moderators, and members shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of SALUTE.

7. Termination and Suspension

7.1 SALUTE reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership at any time, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms or community guidelines.

8. Changes to Terms

8.1 We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of any changes through acceptable means, such as email or a notice on our platform.

By clicking “I Agree,” and paying your SALUTE membership fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, community guidelines, and marketing/promotional release language.
