This Privacy Policy does not apply to data collected by us offline or through any other means, nor does it apply to any third party, including any application or content (including advertising content) that may link to or otherwise be accessible from any Services. We are not responsible for any of the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites or services. Any data that is collected by any linked third-party site will be governed by that third party’s applicable privacy notices and its terms of use. We strongly encourage you to read them.
We may supplement this Privacy Policy through one or more supplemental privacy notices, which apply to a particular interaction with us or our Services. These supplemental privacy notices may be either embedded in this Privacy Policy or made available to you separately. We will tell you when a supplemental privacy notice applies.
What data do we collect, and how do we collect it?
The types of data we collect depend on how you interact with us, the Services you use, and the choices that you make (including your device settings).
We collect data that you provide to us.
Depending on how you interact with the Services, you may provide the following:
- Personal details, such as your name, job title, email address, social media identifiers, postal address, telephone number, birth date, nationality, government-issued identifier, and demographic information.

- Information about your preferences, such as preferred methods of communication and interest in our products and Services.
- Content and files that you upload in the context of the Services.
- Content that you submit to, or that is generated by, any AI-powered tools or features we make available through the Services, including text, prompts, queries, and any other inputs (“AI Inputs”), as well as any outputs generated in response to your AI Inputs (“AI Outputs”).
It is always your choice whether to provide this personal data. However, certain personal data must be provided in order to participate in certain portions of the Services. (For example, we require your email address in order to send you our email newsletter.) This means your decision not to provide certain personal data could limit or eliminate your ability to participate in certain portions of the Services, or may otherwise limit the Services’ functionality.
We collect information through automated means, including analytics and advertising.
Depending on how you access or use our Services and your device settings, we may collect some information automatically. For more information about the automated technology that is used to collect this information, please review our Cookies Notice (as defined herein).

- Geolocation information.
- Usage and session information, such as the URL of the website from which you arrived at our website, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times, and other details about your use of and actions on our Services.
Analytics Services
We use certain third-party analytics services, including services provided by Meta, Stripe, Outseta, Airtable, Later, Flodesk, Typeform, Tasklet, Supabase, Google Analytics, Webflow and other tools to better understand how you and other users engage with our Services. These third-party analytics tools may collect certain usage data, including via cookies, pixels, or similar technologies about our Services, to provide us reports and metrics that help us evaluate usage of our Services, and improve the performance of our Services and your user experience.
For more information about how each of the tools we have listed collect and use data, please visit such service provider’s website.
We also use certain third-party advertising services to provide advertisements for our products when you visit other websites or online services.
Targeted Advertising
We allow certain third parties, including the analytics services discussed above, advertising services and networks and others (collectively, “Third-Party Advertisers”) to incorporate cookies, pixels, and similar technologies in the Services. These Third-Party Advertisers may use information collected by these technologies to provide you with more relevant advertisements and content within our Services and on third-party sites and apps, and to evaluate the success of such advertisements and content.
These third parties may belong to industry self-regulatory groups (such as the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA)); please visit their websites to review additional information about how to opt out from receiving interest-based online advertisements from member companies.
If you elect to opt out as described above, please note that you will continue to receive generic advertising, including on our Services. Further, you may continue to receive targeted advertising beyond the context of our Services or from companies that do not participate in the self-regulatory groups we have described.
We collect data from other sources.
We may collect information about you from other sources, including publicly available sources (such as social media), commercially available sources, and our vendors and business partners. We may combine or link any information we collect about you or your device through the Services with any of this information. We may also combine this information with any information about you that we have collected separately offline.
How do we use your data?
We use your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise communicated to you (when we collect your personal data, or before we begin using any personal data for those newly communicated purposes). For example, we use your personal data:
- To provide the Services and our products, which includes maintaining, improving, troubleshooting, and personalizing the Services, verifying customer information, processing, fulfilling, shipping, and delivering your orders and similar services.
- To operate our business, which includes creating, maintaining, and renewing your membership, billing, accounting, improving internal operations, securing our networks, detecting fraudulent or illegal activity, and monitoring usage and activity of our Services.

- To improve our existing offerings and to develop new offerings, and conduct related research and analytics.
- To market the Services and our products, including through targeted advertising.
- To fulfill legal, security, and safety obligations (including the rights, safety, health, and security of us, our users, and the general public), and to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
- To anonymize your information for further use in a manner that does not identify you individually.
- To power, operate, and improve AI-powered tools and features available through the Services, including to generate AI Outputs in response to your AI Inputs.
- To train, fine-tune, evaluate, and otherwise improve AI or machine learning models used in connection with the Services, using data collected through the Services.
- To protect us, the SALUTE team, or the public (including for fraud prevention), or where necessary to protect rights or property of us or others (including to enforce our agreements, terms, and policies) and to prevent illegal or unauthorized activities.
We combine information that we collect from different sources to achieve these purposes and to provide you with a more personalized, enhanced online experience.
We may aggregate or deidentify personal data that we collect. Where we maintain such deidentified information, we do not attempt to reidentify any such data except as necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of our deidentification policies and procedures.
How do we share your data, including with third parties?
We only share your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise communicated to you when we collect your personal data. We do not sell your personal data, nor do we share your personal data for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising.
We disclose your personal data to provide the Services and to fulfill orders or inquiries that you have requested or authorized. We may also disclose your personal data for other purposes, including:
- To our subsidiaries, affiliates, and entities that belong to our corporate group, for them to use in ways that are consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- To vendors and professional advisers (such as legal representatives, auditors, and insurance brokers) that help us operate the Services or our organization, including marketing, advertising, and analytics services.
- To companies that supply the products and services that we sell, including marketing services.
- If we plan to merge, sell or reorganize, or are subject to insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings, as part of the business arrangement.
- When required by law or legal process (including to law enforcement or government agencies).
- When necessary to protect us, the SALUTE team, or the public (including for fraud prevention), or where necessary to protect rights or property of us or others (including to enforce our agreements, terms, and policies, and to prevent illegal or unauthorized activities).
How do we store, retain, and protect your data?
We will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy (or any other notice provided at the time your personal data is collected), but no longer than required or permitted under applicable law or our own records policy, any retention criteria disclosed at the point of collection, or any supplemental privacy notice.
In addition to being committed to your privacy, we are committed to taking appropriate measures to keep your personal data secure. We use what we believe are reasonable and appropriate information security measures, including physical, administrative, and technical safeguards, for the type of data that we collect. These measures are designed to protect the personal data you provide to us through the Services from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Unfortunately, no website, mobile app, system or transmission of data can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure. We are therefore unable to guarantee the security of your personal data, and encourage you to use caution when using the Internet.
How can you manage, review, and update your data?
You may send us an email at legal@salute.community to request access to, correct or delete personal data that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to update any such data if we believe it would violate any law or legal requirement, or would cause the data we hold to be incorrect.
Residents of certain states may have additional rights with respect to managing, reviewing, and updating their personal data. Please visit the “What rights do you have under US state law?” section of this Privacy Policy for more information.
Please note that if we have disclosed personal data to third parties as permitted under this Privacy Policy, we may no longer have access to such data, and may not be able to update any such data.
If you have signed up for any of our communications, you may also manage, review, and update your communications preferences as follows:
- If you have signed up for commercial emails or newsletters, you may unsubscribe from them by following the instructions at the bottom of the email or contacting us using any of the methods described in the “How can you contact us with comments, questions, or concerns?” section of this Privacy Policy.
- If you have subscribed to mail or telephone promotions from us, please call us at (646) 653-9431 or email us at hello@salute.community with “Opt Out” in the subject line and your account number and phone number in the body of the email.
- If you have signed up to receive text messages from us, you may opt out of these alerts any time by replying “STOP” or any alternative keyword we share with you.
Please allow sufficient time for your preferences to be processed. Please also note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing messages, we may contact you for other purposes (such as responding to your requests, completing a transaction, or other administrative purposes).
What rights do you have under US state law?
Depending on the state where you reside, you may have certain additional privacy rights, subject to statutory limitations.
- Right to Know and Access: You may have the right to request information about the personal data that we collect, use, disclose, share, and sell. This includes the ability to request the specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may have the right to request that we delete certain personal data that we have collected from you, under certain circumstances.
- Right to Correct: You may have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal data that we hold about you.

- Right to Non-Discrimination: We may not discriminate against you for exercising your rights with respect to personal data. We are permitted to change our service level or change the rate we charge if that change is reasonably related to the value of your information.
These rights are not absolute, are subject to exceptions and limitations and may not be afforded to residents of all states. If any of the below rights are available to you under applicable law, you may submit a request to exercise those rights through any of the methods described in the “How can you contact us with comments, questions, or concerns?” section of this Privacy Policy. If your request is denied, applicable law may provide you the right to lodge an appeal with us. The response to your rights request will inform you of any appeal rights you may have and tell you how you may exercise them.
California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”) provides California residents with specific privacy rights in certain circumstances. Because we are a nonprofit, we are not subject to its requirements. We nevertheless remain committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal data that you provide to us.
California’s “Shine the Light” Law
If you are a California resident, you may request that we disclose a list of all third parties with whom we have shared your “personal information” (as defined by California’s “Shine the Light” law) during the previous calendar year, along with the type of personal information that we disclosed. We do not share personal data with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
How do we protect children’s privacy?
None of our Services are intended for, nor do they target, children (people under the age of 13). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that we have collected data about your child, please contact us using any of the methods described in the “How can you contact us with comments, questions, or concerns?” section of this Privacy Policy.
We recommend that parents routinely monitor their children’s online presence. To learn more about how to safeguard your child on the Internet, please visit the FTC resource Protecting Your Child’s Privacy Online.
How can you contact us with comments, questions, or concerns?
We welcome any feedback or questions you may have with respect to our data privacy practices. If you have any such feedback or questions, or if you have questions about how to exercise your rights, you can reach us by email at legal@salute.community.
Cookies Notice
This Cookies Notice (this “Cookies Notice”) is meant to provide additional information about our use of cookies and similar technology in the Services. Please read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
When you visit the Services, your browser is asked to store a “cookie,” or a small text file, on your computer or device. More information about cookies may be found at www.allaboutcookies.org. We may also use related technologies, such as tracking pixels, web beacons, and other technologies (together with cookies, collectively, “cookies”) in conjunction with our Services.
If the Service you are using has a “Manage Cookies” button or similar choice mechanism, you can directly view, change, and manage your cookie settings at any time. Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies will be placed only after you make the relevant selection through that mechanism. If the Service you are using does not have a “Manage Cookies” button, you may still be able to control cookies through your browser settings and, where applicable, through any universal opt-out mechanism as described in the Privacy Policy. For more information, please review the “How do I manage cookies and similar technologies?” section of this Cookies Notice below.
What types of cookies do we use, and for what purposes?
We use a combination of strictly necessary cookies, functionality cookies, performance or analytics cookies, and marketing cookies. Some of the technologies described below may be deployed by us or by service providers acting on our behalf. Unless you have modified your settings to refuse cookies, the applicable cookies may be issued when you use the Services.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are necessary to make the Services work; we cannot switch them off. They do not store any personal data. If you set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, some parts of the site will not work.
Functionality Cookies
Functionality cookies help the Services remember choices you make and enable enhanced features, preferences, or integrations. Depending on the Services, these cookies may support user settings, content display, language preferences, embedded tools, or similar features.
Performance Cookies
Performance cookies help us perform statistical analysis to enhance the performance of the Services (including reviewing page use, interactions, and experiences the user has with a given portion of the Services). This information lets us know how users interact with the Services. We do not associate data collected through these cookies with any individual person.
For more information about Google Analytics cookies, please visit Google’s Analytics help page here. You may install an add-on to your browser that permits you to opt out of Google Analytics cookies here.
Marketing Cookies
We use a marketing service that utilizes a cookie when a user interacts with marketing communications. For example, if you elect to receive email or other updates from us, our emails may use a click-through URL, which passes through a separate web server before arriving at our Services. This click-through information helps us understand how users interact with our marketing communications.
This marketing cookie collects personal data such as your name and how you arrived at the Services.
Cookies from Third-Party Websites
As you navigate through the Services, you may be directed to third-party websites or apps, including to make payments, to participate in surveys, to view content (such as embedded videos or news articles), to complete employment applications, etc. Such third-party websites may deploy their own cookies or similar technologies, and we have no control and make no representations about any such cookies or similar technologies.
How do I manage cookies and similar technologies?
The cookies used on our Services can be disabled (or enabled) through your browser. We cannot guarantee the effectiveness of any browser management tools for cookies, as they are outside our control. For more information about managing cookies, please visit the link applicable to your browser:
Please be advised that if your browser is set to reject cookies, or you otherwise manually delete cookies, you may encounter difficulty using some pages or some features of the Services. Additionally, please note that when you disable cookies, we will stop using the disabled cookie to collect any further data from you; however, any data collected prior to your selection may still be used.
What about universal opt-out mechanisms and “do not track” requests?
Several U.S. states require that we honor “universal opt-out mechanisms,” such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), which signal your preference to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data or the use of your personal data for targeted advertising. We honor GPC signals and similar universal opt-out mechanisms recognized under applicable state law. When we detect such a signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising with respect to the browser or device from which the signal is sent.
There is no uniform industry or legal standard for how websites must respond to older “Do Not Track” browser signals. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, but we honor GPC signals as described above. More information about “Do Not Track” is available at www.allaboutdnt.org. More information about GPC is available at https://globalprivacycontrol.org.
How can you contact us with comments, questions, or concerns?
