From CEO of Vimeo, Anjali Sud, being the first South Asian American woman to take a company public, to Leena Nair ending 2021 as the first female and youngest CEO of Chanel — South Asian women made their mark across industries in 2021.

While we’re seeing South Asian women rise to the top, we want their success stories to become a norm, not the exception. With over 60+ members, representing 12+ industries across 14 states, we believe we are building a community of exceptional South Asian female leaders — both those embarking on their journey and those at the top, paving the way for others.

We end this year having engaged with 9 incredible South Asian female trailblazers who inspired us with their stories — ranging from C-level executives at the largest global companies, best-selling authors, and influencers to founders who are breaking barriers and change leaders transforming the world.

Looking to 2022, we're excited for what's next with SALUTE. We're listening to our members, and we're evolving and growing so we can further elevate South Asian female leaders:

• Our focus is community first. We are exploring creative and easier ways for members to build more meaningful relationships, especially while the world is virtual. From offering coffee chats with our speakers to setting up a monthly Power Circle, we are trying to foster connections inside and outside of SALUTE for our members.
• We will lead with storytelling. We will continue hosting intimate Fireside Chats & AMAs showcasing the diversity of leadership among South Asian females and the impact they are having across industries.
• We will amplify professional opportunities. As a professional network, we want our members to have access to various professional development forums, content, resources, and coaching to support members on their leadership journeys.

We're incredibly proud of what we have built in 2021 and are blown away by the support from the SALUTE community and the leaders who have generously shared their time and stories. We want to take this moment to thank our members, supporters, and advocates. We're so grateful for what we've built together and are looking forward to what's to come.
