Imaan Moughal is a Trusts & Estates Associate at Manice Budd & Baggett, LLP and Adjunct Professor of Law at Hofstra Law School teaching Estate Administration. In her practice, Imaan specializes in Estate Planning, Probate and Administration, Estate and Trust Litigation and Guardianship Proceedings. She was selected as a 2021-2023 American Bar Association RPTE Trusts & Estates Fellow. Prior to joining Manice & Budd, LLP, Imaan was an Associate at McLaughlin & Stern LLP, where she focused on estate planning and litigation. Imaan has also worked as an associate at Cullen & Dykman, LLP where she served as a counsel to the Public Administrator of Kings County, and before that she was appointed as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Kelly, Queens County Surrogate.
Imaan is a graduate of Hofstra Law, where she served as Business & Communications Editor of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel ACTEC Law Journal and founded Hofstra Law School’s Trusts & Estates Law Society. Throughout law school, she was a member of the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association. Imaan was also a recipient of the 2015 New York State Bar Foundation’s Trusts and Estates Law Section Fellowship and recipient of the 2019 Emerging Leader Women’s Law Award.
Imaan is actively involved in the New York Trusts & Estates Law community and has been a SALUTE member since 2021.
